       Unironically I don't understand what's so good about Bergara. I could see an argument made for a full-on chassis rifle, but even then it's in no way better than a Ruger or even Savage.

       @shibao @valleyforge @leyonhjelmI'm extremely casual and my main rifle is a Tikka M695 in 30-06. When I was buying it, someone was selling an old Win 70 for $210. I should've bought it instead. But I wanted a laminate stock that would not warp. That certainly is convenient but not as essential as it seemed to me at the time. I think I could hunt with a $75 Mosin with the same success. I never take a shot longer than 75 yards.

       @gat Mine maxes out at 50 yards.  Could do any old Mauser but I use the AR because the barrel is freshest@shibao @valleyforge
