       Pharma Co: Your meds cost $409!Insurance Co: It's a good thing you have insurance now the meds are only $15!I pay the insurance company $1,900 a year. You can tell it's a gift because the meds only cost like 45¢ to make and in most of the developed world they're free.

       @art It's all theft, pure and simple.In my lifetime, I've watched the wealthiest extract the wealth from the poorest.Part of it was very indirect and almost innocent (automation, globalization, etc.), but a lot of it was very dadgum intentional.I hate what we've become.It's like Reagan never left office. No matter who we elect, they're either a Reagan Droid or completely stonewalled by the Regan Droids in congress. X(

       @art yep. We get told if we dare to ask, that we're funding the R&D of new shit with our money. I think the worst part of all this is that to get meds ppl in my life need, I have to do business with companies I utterly despise.
