       I hate this time of year, the obsession with tests and exam results as if those represent the value of education. It's such a destructive time for many. Lifelong learning and experiences  are far more important, opening our minds up to new thinking and questioning what we read and discuss

       @fionaorkneynews Exam results can be poorer, better, or the same as last year. Each outcome is decried as an failure.Poorer - disasterBetter - exams made easier /grade inflationSame - no progress despite increased expenditure on education.The annual kicking dished out by the commentators.
