       Longyearbyen: a Norwegian town so cold that dying has been illegal there since 1950 when locals discovered that bodies weren’t decomposing in the cemetery because of the frigid weather.Guess they still didn't hear about the global boiling.        @pastaconfetti that's what they'd traditionally do in Norway, but I can't see that many trees there to build a pile out of.... 😂Seriously though, a crematorium prolly wouldn't make much sense for a small settlement like that

       @Mummabear See that's weird. I'm religious and very pro cremation. That's what I want for when I die. It's what we did with my Dad. What all my in laws, who are super duper religious, choose. Maybe it's bc we aren't Catholic.  @ThatCrazyDude

I never lived in a place like that, but if they have crustaceans there, it might actually be a viable option.Man, when I lived in the Philippines I've seen crabs eat literally everything. I've even seen a coconut crab tackling an eagle once. Those ducks are slow, but vicious. They also taste good, but that's a different story 😂

But hey, look at it this way: people pay a ton these days to have their cadaver frozen solid till kingdom come (or till there's technology to defrost and revive them).
