Currently doing a little domain cleanup, most can expire but some are pretty cool!Often it's the case these get registred by someone and sold for a masssssive priceKinda sucky since the chance is low anyone will ever buy or use it again that way

@EpicKitty @stux I agree and i like the idea.So stux, how much do you have in mind when it comes to spend something for that domain? Lets say, i would be up to spend the server costs for one month for mstdn.social + services (should be around 615€ i guess)Or here is another deal:I pay for the domain but you keep the ownership and you would point the DNS record to a specific server.Not sure if that idea would work and would get used tho

@Jain @EpicKitty To be honest, if I get my investment back and maybe a little extra to spend on our services I would be happy! The most important thing for me is that it goes to someone who actually wants to use it ❤️ It's kinda super good domain and I trust you with it :cat_hug_triangle: (you do a lot for the Fedi :blobcathighfive: ) so i would be totally happy with a month support and you'll get the full domain

@Jain @EpicKitty I also had such in thing in mind at first indeed, maybe also for guidence, tips etc etcBut than i remembered i have so many instances to run already and I'd rather turn it back into something for our current services and let someone else build upon (something like that)
