       @rher Its alright. Combat is fairly enjoyable and the abilities system is kind of neat.  The open world is cool. Theres a fair amount of endgame content but they don’t release much. Like 2 dungeons and a trial each year. The monetization seems ok at first but if you don’t sub inventory management sucks. Most of the cool cosmetics/pets/mounts items cant be earned in game. Theyre all in the store in timegated lootboxes. I think its worth playing a bit if you like es. Once youre max level it gets old fast.

       @rher I only dabbled in pvp so I'll tell you about the pve.The biggest problem with eso pve is that they've equalized the level scaling across the board for all single-player content except the arenas, which, while a good and lengthy challenge, is nothing in comparison with the sheer amount of overworld content that simply feels like the same shit over and over again, as there is no challenge curve.Outside of that, the veteran dungeons and trials require good coordination with your teammates, a solid build, knowledge of boss mechanics, and a good control of your rotation and animation canceling (a bug that became a dev-supported mechanic, because the vets came to like it as it raised the skill ceiling). There are a lot of those and they're fun, though the gear grind is really annoying.There is a lot of minigame content now with a card game and a minesweeper-esque archeology minigame.As far as the poz goes, until the first expansion (Morrowind), the game is quite fine. Lore and dialogues are good. Once summerset kicks in, you get deviant art/tumblr extravaganza. The main foe in Summerset (2nd expac) are nazi daedra-worshipping high elves (with sexy robes). I never completed the rest of the expacs even though I own everything up to the 5th expac. You get cute 2 fem companions tho.

       @rher It isn't the same kind of game as the singleplayer games. Much more standard MMO. Everything is boiled down into abilities and cool downs like WoW. As a result, you don't have as much agency in combat. So, you are on the grinding treadmill. Where the game only rewards time, instead of cleverness and skill (as all modern MMOs are designed).
