       @boilingsteam @Gray When you are the MAIN way of distributing games on the PC and even your competitors start publishing games through you instead of staying exclusive to their platform, you know you have a monopoly because they are a bit forced to go through you to get a bigger audience, at least it is easier.

       @wallmenis @Gray there is no incentive to stay exclusive to a single platform - publishers want to reach the largest amount of gamers, no matter where they are.Also, what you describe is market share domination, which is completely different from a monopoly. A monopoly is when you have no choice at all. I know that people have some problems with words these days

       @boilingsteam @wallmenis @Gray Valve is the largest part of the PC gaming oligopoly. I think Valve has mostly earned their status with good will and product, however it would be nice to have healthier competition.
