@Curvin @Turkleton @alex you have any ideas about this? a recent update to chrome makes a lot of videos unplayable. not just on poast, i can upload a video to desu.si and it wont play in chrome at all. do we finally have to go the way of mastodon and transcode everything?

@alex @Curvin @Turkleton this video wont play in Brave 1.56.20 Chromium: 115.0.5790.171I'm pretty sure the updates to chrome in the last week caused this. users using brave, chrome and chromium browsers are complaining. Samsung Browser uses an outdated version and it runs fine on my phone, but it will not open in brave, chrome or anything. just audio. it's not soapbox at all, its definitely chrome
