       Back in Boise after my annual #huckleberry gather. Tough to find big berries this year, maybe because of the heat, but I managed to pick almost two gallons for the freezer. #Idaho

       @jendschneider My mother inspired my love of huckleberry picking. The annual berry harvest was such a big deal in Alaska when I lived there, although blueberries are a lot easier to pick than hucks!

       @IdahoLark Excellent. For the first time since anyone can remember, there are no huckleberries to be found in our part of Northern BC. Sure hope they come back next year.
