@ihatebooks It absolutely should be legalized. If no money is transferred, the same acts are legal. Even spending money on dates and gifts to seduce someone is legal. The act shouldn't become a crime simply because the transfer of money is direct.

@ihatebooks No, I've never read Long Live Hoes.It occurred to me, though, that there's a limit on the value of prostitutes for men looking for their first sexual experience. I've read that the average age for that is about 17. But even if sex work were legalized, I'm sure it would remain illegal, with heavy penalties, to accept customers under 18. Teenagers might not want to wait.
