@lain It's easier to work with than base SD 1.5, and particularly it does better in the little details that SD 1.5 couldn't really improve much on even with finetunes and merges. Animals, intricate electronics, hair, textures, etc... It's a bit better on hands and text too, though text is not quite legible yet.The prompting is different and good defaults are different from good defaults on SD 1.5, hence why I'm getting a head start on it for when it'll catch up in finetunes and merges. It's not significantly heavier/slower to run for me because it's better at high resolution so I can skip the hires. fix step I used to do on SD 1.5.

@lain None of these have had inpainting or have been run through img2img. I've chosen the best pictures I could find, but this quality is fairly typical and not just cherry picking through a big batch of generations.

@lain As of now, the best SDXL finetunes I think we have are RunDiffusion XL, Copax Realistic XL and DucHaiten-AIart-SDXL.
