@SirA_KUPM Not Canadian. He uptalks when he feels insecure or stressed, but speaks quiet and full of fry when not. A good guy, but comes across as rather passive.

@SirA_KUPM Yes! I used to live near the boarder (Western NY -> Ontario) and got lots of direct exposure to exactly what you're pointing out.

@mikegastin Yeah.... Had one of those on a meeting yesterday...Had a slight up talk, pink shirt and the typical feminine draw... If course he looked "fabulous".... (*retch 🤢 )Having respect for your customers enough to take the neutral stance with them will go a long way.It really makes someone look stupid when they do this, I don't want to buy your product if the first person you give me is a cultural/diversity hire.

@Fox I almost think that it's becoming so ubiquitous that hiring managers don't recognize it—it just sounds normal. Heck, they probably speak the same way. Another speech idiosyncrasy that I detest is when people end a statement with "right?". No. Not right. I may or may not agree with what you just said. Just put it out there and let me decide what I think. Right? 🤡
