@The_Tim@mastodon.social The entire "remote work is less productive" claims are pretty bogus, and even if there is statistical correlations to remote work and reduced productivity, these are minor (not even taking into account that overall productivity in the economy is at a high compared to decades prior and has essentially always increased).What the grievances really come down to (tinfoil hat time) is commercial real-estate investments. ---There's a glut of it, most aren't making any RoI, and there are many companies and interests with money tied up in these investments. If remote work becomes normalized and standard then these investments become worthless.
