       @neanderthalsnavel most store bought eggs are very unlikely to have any fertilization going on. Most of those birds live horrendous lonely lives in a little cage with artificial sunlight making sure they get the full 18 hours needed to crap out an egg. Farm raised/backyard eggs are often fertilized though.

       My backyard chicken eggs are delicious! They absolutely are fertilized. I don't mind. I kinda think they do give consent. When a hen doesn't want attention she will avoid the rooster. This can cause conflict but not always. My roosters are absolute gentleman. They always feed the hens first then they eat. They run at danger to protect their flock. They all sit together as a family. Hens want to be Moms, I think they do consent.@neanderthalsnavel
