I have wireguard on the main server, and when it hangs, I can't get into the network from the outside to control the power socket and restart it. I had to ask neighbors today to turn off the main power switch. I probably had to add some rpi with wireguard to have some backup entry point.

@Mac_CZ Recent discussion of mine on a very similar scenario for inspiration: https://toot.kottman.xyz/@michal/110799413055050423

@Mac_CZ Bit overkill for me, but it might be useful in your case: https://pikvm.org/(I just have a VPN to my router for wake-on-lan and then I mostly hope the server will not hang... but as I am typing this, I realised that the router has GPIO... so I might be able to connect the reset switch to that... it's just going to need a looong cable)

@daemontus My router doesn't support wireguard, only openVPN. I prefer wireguard.
