       @twitnews Canada banned regular incandescent bulbs in 2014/2015 and we've been just fine.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phase-out_of_incandescent_light_bulbs#:~:text=The%20Canadian%20federal%20government%20banned,inventories%20imported%20before%20the%20bans.

       @twitnews And in a not long period of time, you'll see Florescent bulbs going the same way. Personally I'm just as happy to have even less mercury being released into the environment because someone throws away a cfl and it gets crushed in a landfill.
