       @petergleick Maybe it's time for more direct action; solutions that seemed stupid years ago should be on the table now.Way back in the '90s when we were being told that the ecoterrorists were the people who wanted to end private cars and limit fossil fuel infrastructure there were all sorts of ideas for crippling the infrastructure that upholds the hydraulic despotism that is the organizing principle of the fossil fuel industries.

       @laprice @petergleick Direct action? As in indirectly killing off a significant portion of the population? Because that's what suddenly deleting essential infrastructure without a replacement available will do. Either that or it results in emergency deployment of inefficient fossil fuel replacements. Ask Ukraine about that.
