@inklings no problem - I have zero tolerance for idiots who blame the victims and their allies and not the aggressors for an irresponsible war.Just an FYI: after reading up on this topic for 10min, it seems that Ben Cohen, one of the 2 founders, expressed his personal opinion. Yes, he is part of the board of directors, but Unilever as the owner of Ben & Jerry's have critizised Cohen's tweet. So, it appears to me that Ben & Jerry's is not to blame. Maybe I am wrong?

@backpackandsnorkel@inklings I'm hopeful for similar myself... maybe Unilever pulling a "walk the plank" on him as corporate overseer of Ben & Jerry's. (ie, do as we say or we slowly watch your company dry out from lack of funding/support, from us, and sell it off for pennies with zero hesitation.)

But I appreciate the consideration.Many don't realize that dum-dum "pacifism" (Roger Waters flavor) ALWAYS favors the aggressor, and sets the game with an incentive to do it again. As much as they may mean well, they make the world worse, by emboldening the putins.Many also do not realize the point of defending Ukraine is not only that, but a step on fighting a source of christofascism.

@inklings yes, that is a valid point and definitely justifies boycotting them. Unfortunately, Unilever makes so many different products that it will likely be impossible to avoid them completely.
