       Thanks to California my drawstring cheese cloth bags I got for making cannabutter have the prop65 warning on them because companies have found it easier and cheaper to just slap it on everything instead of only what actually needs it and risk getting sued for a mistake or an unknown variable.        @sevvie actually that's probably it. The bags are just cotton. The drawstrings are probably nylon or polyester. I don't really see an issue with either. Sure, if you set it on fire and then inhaled the smoke that could probably cause cancer. I don't imagine smoking cotton and nylon/polyester is particularly healthy. Either it's the bad or they just slapped the sticker on there so they didn't have to worry about it. It's probably the latter.

       @brimshae I mean, a handful of soil in a lot of places of California actually meets the threshold to require the warning... Then again they also slap that warning on roasted coffee beans and whatnot so it really holds no value.

       @sjw @brimshae The beans are for a chemical created when you roast them (same with frying foods and any other high heat cooking). Go for organic cotton with cotton strings next time. Who knows what the chinks did when they made that thing; probably soaked the cloth in a bath of heavy metals.
