I get the feeling some people are forgetting who Putin is...He is ex-KGB. He never stopped being one. He also never stopped considering the entire USSR as Russian by right. His intent since the fall of the USSR, is and always has been to reclaim all the territory that broke away AND to expand it into the largest empire Russia has ever controlled. Not because he cares about the people or the actual 'state', but because he wants to be remembered as the guy who did it.

@tomcrinstam Which is why I get the feeling he may prefer to go out in a blaze of fire, rather than accept defeat. I see him as patriotic to the USSR and irrational.

@zleap Oh he won't accept defeat. At best, he could be convinced to retreat so he can try another day, and even that possibility grows smaller as he knows he's getting old and to the end of his life. Either he gets ousted/killed at home by his own, dies from illness/old age, is killed by the enemy, or he keeps trying to reclaim and expand territory .

@tomcrinstam I am hoping his generals see sense and take him out before more Russians are conscripted and slaughtered on the battle field.

@tomcrinstam I think a few Russian generals should get a WWII history book, and learn about the plot to blow up Hitler, learn from that and devise a plot to blow up Putin.

@tomcrinstam @zleapThe problem with "getting a WWII history book" is it would show that the #USA and #UK funded and gave rise to the nazi regime back then to mine Europe and to be a bulwark against #theRussians, and they were able to do it the same thing again in Ukraine.https://web.archive.org/web/20220402105637/https://time.com/5926750/azov-far-right-movement-facebook/Everyone who is not blinded by greed knows what is going on.Just because some are too afraid to understand, don't think that the #globalMajority are.

@dsfgs @zleap @tomcrinstam How surprising it was that the Russians found all of the extermination camps.

@Zergling_man @dsfgs @tomcrinstam I would suspect the reasons the Russians found more was becuase most seemed to be in Eastern Europe which Russia, Of course got to first, the Allies were approaching from France, russia from the East towards Berlin / Germany.
