@thor I noticed that, too. They are careful to only call fediblock on individual users when they know the instance is too big to play the two-against-the-middle game with. I see it as an admission that they know they're playing said game.

@lehi there are some quasi-prominent ones that block us. and there's a large-instance admin i occasionally talk to that has a bigger personal network than me who tells me that many instance admins know who i am. having an account with 2500 followers gives this instance fairly high visibility.
