The W3C AB published a first Draft Note of the Vision for W3CThe Vision attempts to help the world understand what W3C is, what it does and why that matters; and in particular to articulate the principles by which it operates and that guide its decisionshttps://www.w3.org/news/2023/draft-note-vision-for-w3c/

@w3c The vision for the web and ethical principles document linked are great! That should mean that W3C rejects Google's WEI as well as PrivacyPass, correct?Because both proposals outsource discrimination against some web users to non-web "attesters". In so doing, they undermine the vision and principles. Any technology that does so through the loophole of a non-web component still violates the spirit of either document.Context: e.g. https://interpeer.io/blog/2023/07/google-vs-the-open-web/
