       @aparrish This post is so well timed. Yesterday I took the time to write a well documented bug report on a GitHub repository, only to have it promptly closed and to be told to instead join their Discord server.Once I joined their server, I carefully wrote out my issue and posted it on their support channel, only to watch it disappear in a sea of rapid fire messages from members discussing all matter of things. What is so wrong with using GitHub to track issues and prioritize work?

But #Discord is a bad "solution" to this, as it suffers from the same problems and doesn't offer even a remote hint of being usable as an issue tracker.Only absolutely retarded people consider using it. You're generally better off just finding a better project to support.
