Borderline hate level in my autistic and physically disabled opinion. The server is general purpose and ableism isn't listed as against the rules.Ive successfully gotten Twitter to remove similar memes that were less disgusting.

@CatHatI'm sorry this happened. It isn't against the rules of your instance, but there are many instances, including this one, that don't allow ableism. Mastodon has a feature for transferring your account to another instance, if that's something you'd like to do. You can also list the name of the ableist account under the FediBlock hashtag with the reason they should be blocked, so everyone knows to block them.

@CatHat @connersjackson I would contact your admin and see what they say. Even if it isn’t strictly against the rules, the moderator may feel as you do that that meme was over the line. My experience is that the mods here are more responsive to bigotry, but no platform is perfect and it’s still going to require user vigilance to keep this a safe place.

It hurts.ifhate and dehumanizing tropes are considered acceptable here because the people being targeted don't count, if harm cannot be judged from the perspective of the people being harmed, and is judged by the standards of the people doing it? Nobody disabled is safe here. including people who use alt text.
