He's like a depressed low-key but more self-aware Eiji from OOO at times, jeez.Combine this with his statements in the previous episode about how it'd be cool if he sacrificed himself saving the world and uh... there's some real issues here with valuing himself. ...given where the series goes... 😢

Okay so we gotta talk about the other Scooby Doo plot of the episode.There's this place called the Whistling Cave, where people hear it's haunted with the voices of the dead, and anyone who goes there comes down sick with a mysterious ailment, which is used as an excuse to keep out tourists.This all turns out to be the Centipede Undead hanging out in a cave for some reason just poisoning random humans?I think he's trying to drive away tourists so he can prospect for gold. :P

But don't worry, Hajime can cure the victims with his totally human knowledge. He needs the antibodies from the Undead to cure the venom....antibodies... sure...Which have to be taken while the undead is alive!...I'm going to assume he's thinking he's dumbing that down for the humans who he doesn't want to have to explain to in a hurry that actually undead don't die they get sealed yadda yadda but it's amusing nonetheless. :P

I would love to know how Tachibana came up with his theory here that sealing all the Undead will fix his body that is BREAKING DOWN....like he's already running off hypochondria, paranoia, and anxiety canonically for the body breaking down idea... I don't even know where he got this.It's not that he thinks he'll be able to rest then, he makes allusions to a "new power" earlier in the episode....the idea of Tachibana trying to invent King Form on his own is hilarious and worrying.
