@JustJimThis was supposed to be an above average year, so yeah, wtf happened to all the doom and gloom they forecast? Anybody surprised that nobody is buying into their climate change nonsense anymore, when the same models don't even predict hurricane season adequately? And I am sure they are aware of when el nino and la nina years are when they do their season prediction, so no need to dish out lame excuses for completely missing the predictions. 2c/oao@isaac

@StefanL @JustJim @isaac Strange air paattern over the atlantic. I can't recall the movenent being from east to west, but maybe normal. Not gonna see any hurricanes if the moisture is moving toward the coast of Africa.

@CoramDeoI think you misunderstand where the hurricanes are formed. From what i can see on the map (bottom right) there are two potential (the darker roundish areas) systems forming which are moving East to West in the usual location for hurricanes (the map cuts off the usual location of hurricane formation). The areas moving West to East are too high and should be correct (they are the counter balance to the air masses moving East to West).@JustJim @isaac

@JustJimNo need to project your issues :D.The 'Africa Dust' is a regular occurrence, it happens every year, it is called the Harmattan Season in West Africa, visibility is shit and they won't fly the choppers out to the rigs.
