And if it comes to "aliens"..Ofc I believe there's alien life out there, I mean do you know how FREAKING BIG the universe is :amaze: But the thing is..There are no 'alien spacecraft' on Earth. @stuxThat's true. I believe climate change but I don't believe it's possible to do anything about it except use it to gain more control, power, and money by corporate and government interests. I also think the ice ages and warm periods in history are also climate change as well. I want to believe in aliens and angels but I've never seen them so I currently don't believe.

@stux very true! The spacecraft we sent out in the mid 1970s are just now leaving our solar system, it will take them 100000s of years to come anywhere near another solar system. Even at near light speed it would take several thousand years to get to one of the next stars. So aliens, yes, on earth, no.

@stux Totally agree with you.The chances about there is any kind of life form outside Earth must be very high. But the probability that 2 evolved civilizations, with enough technology to make an intergalactic travel, just meet at the same time and at the same part of the universe must be very low.

@stux I agree that alien life almost certainly exists - perhaps even sentient alien life. However, it’s incredibly improbable that we will ever *meet* sentient alien life even if we were to break free from the confines of our solar system. It’s even less probable that alien life has already found us, let alone that it somehow could be kept secret by a single government. I don’t think it’s reasonable to believe in secret UFOs without extremely solid evidence.

@stux Honestly i believe it’s mathematically impossible that we are the only life in the universe.What we should fear about this subject is if they are identical to us humans not only like us but also mentally as we would be very screwed imho due to the history and nature of humanity as it stands.

@stux but wormholes time travel etc ...re Interstellar might scupper your safe from nasty aliens math. There's also the naive argument the universe is basically a good place so they/we might be ok but if they're advanced Hitler types with space/ weapon/travel tech we're definitely the underdogs.
