Twitter, yes I'm keep calling it that cause Elon doesn't like it :ed_grin: ...still doesn't have custom emoji after decades and their demon leader still replies often with only: "😂"He can add subscriptions, limits, redirects etc but something simple as custom emoji is only reserved for Twitter people in their display name :blobcatgiggle: I really love that Mastodon (and other Fedi software) offer the same features for everyone no matter who you are or where you're from ❤️ :nkoHappy:

@stux Conspiracy Theory Alert:Elon is intentionally trying to destroy Twitter's usefulness before the next election. Twitter was vital for the spread of information and fostering meaningful discussion about issues. It allowed for sharing info media outlets were failing to report accurately. It identified misinformation and those who spread it. Twitter also helped people organize and protest around the world.Despite the conservative's attempts to use it to their benefit, they failed.

@stux I got an edit button here and toots appear chronologically. Amazing.Should be perfect for news people, but I think other factors make their lives worth living than news.

@stux well said!!I'm not going to stop calling it Twitter, either, although the whole X thing. Ugh!!It's like my workplace when the current owners took over a few years ago. They changed the name when they did, but to this day, unless someone's new to the area or it's for official purposes, we still all call it Logan Manor in and around the community.Just because a name is changed officially doesn't mean that people are going to change it in their minds.
