       Here's my prediction:Elon Musk is going to succeed bigly with X.There is a need for the type of app that he wants to develop.He's not going after Facebook, he's going after Paypal, Venmo, Google, and Amazon.

I also think the government would be happier with verified X users making transactions versus the black market untaxed transactions happening on Cash app.   Elon’s companies always have a government angle. Tesla selling CAFE credits to traditional OEMs. Tesla solar tax credits.  Military version of Starlink. SpaceX launching government satellites.

       @Jeff24 Good point. Also we add to this the Netflix Effect: if you give people an easy low-cost legal option, they stop doing illegal things like piracy or obvious workarounds like crypto.
