       @ned I read that Twitter/X are trying to do something like the Chinese weechat app/environment. Alas... at least the Chinese have the CCP to restrain-protect them from themselves in the US there is a jewish twist.I don't get reading that much into it, I just see buzzword spamming because the info is shallow, they really have nothing...Lastly remember that lately US delusions of grandeur don't end well, as in this probably won't age well.

       @ned It’s why Elon was pushing to get rid of anonymity, get people verified, and get phone/CC info on every account.  He wants Twitter accounts to be as real and trackable as Facebook accounts, because verified, profiled real people are much more valuable to advertisers.The twist is he realized he can now seamlessly extend that into payment processing and ultimately e-commerce.  Paypal ran into and solved the verification problem early in its existence, while he was still there.  Doing that let them instantly integrate with every other site selling something that wanted to outsource verification.Now that half the web allows you to use Twitter login as a 3rd party login credentials, it’s in a position to just add payments, like a user-friendly layer slapped on top of blockchain transfers.  Doesn’t mean he’ll pull it off, but it’s a real possibility if he can move fast enough.  (I’m sure as hell not signing up for that garbage.)
