@clive I think this is a map of google trending topics, so rather than reflecting interest in seeing the films or ticket sales it could mean people in red states are doing a lot of googling of Barbie because right-wing figures are railing against it and they want to know more about the abomination. Blue state people aren’t googling it because they’ve already bought tickets and are dressing in neon polyester to head to the cinema.

@clive I can verify that Dayton, OH has been awash in Barbie. I'm leaning that way myself.The caveat is, here in SW OH, we're always rubbing elbows with the Oppenheimer legacy. So, Barbie it is!

Could be those doing the most searching are only interested in hating on Barbie.
