       @Richard_Littler X is appropriate symbolically on a number of levels. I'm sure what Musk  has in mind is to put his mark on Twitter like a dog marking his territory on every fire hydrant.It's Musk's mark, which historically has been the symbol put on paper by every illiterate that was unable to sign his name.And to X something out is to get rid of it.
