       We were in a different part of the area getting a soda in a drive thru and noodle boy scanned my $5 for authenticity. I asked how many counterfeit $5 he's received. He said none, but a long time ago, they told him to do it, so he's done it. "What denomination have you been given that was counterfeit?"

       He *corrected* me and said that means bills from other countries - he doesn't get those. I blew that off from the moron zoomer and then said, you know, a $10, $20, $50? Which one  are they trying to pass u? He said he hasn't ever received a bad one. But then he said you can put any 7 digit number you want on the survey on the receipt and get the discounted food. They don't check that. Good hack!

       @neanderthalsnavel A long time ago I worked at a bank. The only fake money we ever saw was $100 and $20 bills. The $20 bills were always obvious and cheaply done.

       @BlueDouche @neanderthalsnavel Worked at a grocery store many years ago, we got counterfeit $5 and $10 bills once or twice. I personally never saw a large bill, but I'm sure it happened.

       @yarnlady @neanderthalsnavel The old rule of thumb was that anything less than 20 wasn't truly wirth faking.. and well, with inflation, that might be closer to a $50 now.I can see 20s, but 5s? So much wasted time for so little return.

       @BlueDouche @neanderthalsnavel this was 20+ years ago, the managers noticed it looked it a little off, marked it and it came out the wrong color. Not lucrative back then either I'd imagine.
