all i'm asking for here is qualifiers, reasons, something to base the negative reception of firefish. to me it's the most viable misskey fork and i'll probably end up hosting it soon, but if there's some irredeemable bullshit about it, or anything surrounding it i'd like to fucking know

@gamer I really don’t think there’s anything irredeemable about it just things to dislike about it. Like the git repo shuffling like 3 times when the rebranding had been teased for ages and the supposed “firefish trademark registered in europe” thing

@gamer Idk, to some it’s a valid concern in their eyes that they don’t have trust in the leadership if they’ll make decisions without thought. I kind of feel a move fast break things vibe, but I’m with you in that it feels a bit exaggerated in their minds
