@Java It's a different feeling Saturday. Husband and I had a busy week. So we were slow getting started on our Saturday chores, even though we were up and awake.The high temp today is better than it has been but it is cloudy, and the humidity is oppressive. Feels like a mid to late August day. Just icky.😆 Are you sorry you asked?I'm glad you are having a good day.

@Java 😁 My biggest accomplishment so far is cleaning 7 hummingbird feeders and making a gallon of hummingbird 'juice'.I've done some other household chores, but I'm moving slower than molasses.

@SweetIceTea @Java You're still moving. We're here for a reason. That reason could be because we have no other place to be right now. I feel like most of the time im waiting for the next page to turn. Our book is being written as we speak The book that tells us where we're at right now is the bible imo. What's happening in our world right now looks oddly familiar does it not? My childhood teachings have brought me and my wife to our small country church about a half mile from our house 3 years

@SweetIceTea We've been members for 3 years now. We attend every Sunday for service and sunday night bible classes. Our pastor is an older gentleman, retired postman that has been preaching about 40 years. The kind of preacher I recall from my childhood years. Old school. Our church family is small but all are very fine people. Farmers, ranchers, nurses, construction workers and run of the mill folks like me Our church is an old schoolhouse renovated and added on to, built in the late 1800's
