@remi if you run your own instance for a few friends, #akkoma wins. Just install a reasonable setup once and let it run in the small Hetzner instance until there’s a new release every few months. Lightweight and fast, the devs are great.

@remi@misskey.heonian.org I'm still learning this Fediverse ordeal and trying to wrap my head around all these variants. Could I get some context on Soapbox? What about it gets people blocked? I looked at the main page and it looks like another fedi styled twitter clone to me rather than Facebook.I poked around in Friendica. Decent design. What I really didn't like is how difficult/impossible it is to find people with similar interests. Maybe I chose the wrong server, but it was a bit of a ghost town. Also wasn't a fan of how I followed a Mastodon account in Friendica and it insisted on pushing some posts related to that account, and of a previous search. Can't figure out how to get rid of that.Helpful graphic. Thanks!

@remi OK I've had it. Someone please explain what the fuck "Nazi" means in 2023. The only people I see actively parading around with swastikas are in Ukraine, and yet most purple who talk about "punching Nazis" are leftists who support Ukraine and many went over there to sign up to fight only to be shocked and disillusioned by what pricks Ukrainians are in person.
