       @mntmn@mastodon.social I just mount my server as a network drive using something like sshfs, NFS or samba so you can just play your music using your favorite local music player.

       @mntmn depends on if you have album art already and/or care about such metadata.any upnp/dnla capable server and player suffices.i honestly use multicast rtp on my igmp snooping lan with a remote control via kde connect

       @mntmn I can recommend Navidrome.Because it's sctrictly for music and Jellyfin has problems recognising albums from metadata.

       @emanuel yes, in the meantime i have almost exactly this setup, and works brilliantly (i use play:Sub app though)
