the only thing I really have an issue with with nixos is.. firefox doesn't auto update. I'm generally against auto updates, I prefer to be in control, but webshit is scary dude. inb4 "sandbox firefox",,, no.

@tavi I’m not sure you can enable in a way firefox to auto-update, it couldn’t change its /nix/storewhat about using system.autoUpdate that pulls and update flake or channel?

like.. I've been using windows for... 9 months ish? I'm still fucking tripping over the user interface CONSTANTLY. it SUCKS. I pick up linux again and it's like.. I don't even have to readjust really, it's just exactly what I need.

@duponin yeah I'm sure I could figure something out but I don't want to update my whole fucking system every day just for firefox and I never bothered to get something made to just update firefox

@duponin one of my servers autoupdates a flake that defines my youtube archiver script, and just that flake. It's definitely possible, it just requires some work...
