I’m writing a short note about using linters for improving and maintaining scientific software quality. Do you know any interesting #linter that more people should use?

you cannot exchange normal developer's mind and experience with some stupid code, just because that stupid code is also written by people.

@iron_bug that is definitely not my goal. linters are meant to be used by devs not to replace them. linters can also be useful as a learning tool for junior devs. for example, instead of reading full C++ core guidelines, one can learn about them from linters!

nope. junior devs must develop their own brains, not rely on some crutches. more crutches - less brains.
