Jens Schoenfeld tweets:#Commodore #C64 cartridge "WarpSpeed" has a design bug that puts the CPU of your C64 at risk. Found while handling a C64RMK2 support case. The software-switch for this cart causes bus contention between the cart's EPROM and the CPU. Please retire these carts.#WarpSpeed #RetroComputinghttps://twitter.com/schoenfeld_jens/status/1681672737130000388https://nitter.poast.org/schoenfeld_jens/status/1681672737130000388

The cart has been open-sourced on Github:https://github.com/SukkoPera/OpenC64WarpSpeedAnd original schematics show the same design flaw:https://rr.pokefinder.org/rrwiki/images/9/99/WarpSpeed_Manual_with_Schematics.pdfIf you speak German, the support thread is here:https://forum.icomp.de/index.php?thread/3122-c64r-mkii-inkompatibel-mit-super-snapshot-v5/Jens Schoenfeld states they will develop a fixed version and publish it for free. Until that's done, please do NOT operate any WarpSpeed cartridge in a C64/C128, no matter if original or replica.Warp Speed is a C64/C128 fastload (and tool) cartridge.
