@killyourfm Hopped on Mastodon at the right time! I don’t have an AeroPress, but I also set my up and down to inverted. Spent too much time playing flight sims when I was young to think to do anything but “pull up, PULL UP!”.

@quasigod It seems like whenever I do the standard Aeropress method, water always leaks through too early -- I use enough beans, I level the bed of grounds, and I stir, etc. So that's why I switched to Inverted! And yes, I grew up playing flight sims! That muscle memory stuck for life.

@killyourfm makes sense. I've gotten very close to knocking mine over while it's upright, so I'm not willing to add any extra risk haha.Nice! I remember following a CS pro that uses inverted and he also played flight sims.
