#CovidTestHmmm . . . just took my perfunctory monthy Covid test and it came up positive w/a very faint pink line. 😦1st time I've tested positive since I started getting tested for Covid on or about June 2020.I've been avoiding crowded spaces when ever possible and have still been masking in crowded indoor & outdoor spaces when I can't.Feel no symptoms and have been vaxed 6x times. So, apparently the last vax still works. 🙂Going to retest myself again later today to verify the result.I live alone and have very little close contact w/others. So, no need IMO to quarantine. Maintaining social distance and continued masking in public should be sufficient to protect others from whatever I've got.So, I apparently can't say I've never caught Covid anymore. Oh well . . . 🤷♂️

#CovidTestWell, I just retested myself and it came out NEGATIVE.NO hint of a pink line this time.So, I'm going to retest myself again tomorrow for a final confirmation..

#Covid #TestingFinal update:Retested myself again today and got a solid NEGATIVE.So, I'm calling the 1st test yesterday a false positive and can still claim to have NEVER gotten Covid yet!!! 🥳

what is the false positive/negative rates for your tests? ( you might need more than 2 negative tests to offset a positive depending on the rates )
