       @backpackandsnorkel Awesome place to visit. The glorious colours of the lights illuminating creates a wonderful atmosphere. Be prepared for a very cold experience. Let’s hope the changing climate around the world does not impact this once in a year festival.

       @jj_angelus The thermometer showed -28C (-18F) when we were there.  I wore a long winter coat, thick boots and gloves and did not even need long underpants or hand and foot heaters.  What helped tremendously was that I was wearing a mask (years before Covid), to filter out the dust particles from the dirty coal fired heating plants.  It kept my face warm and the white mask was grey after 3 days.The lights and the artistic ice and snow designs are out of this world.

       @backpackandsnorkel indeed. The beautifully illuminating lights are breathtaking despite the heating elements around there. I was geared like an eskimo when I was there. 😅
