@pxlmo Because it has become everything it was meant not to be unfort..The idea was a fast, free and anonymous payment method worldwide but instead it's expensive AF, privacy is terrible on almost all platforms and it's not fast anymore but rather slower than traditional methods even

@stux the problem is that there's no alternative because everything else flows through the major providers. so it is still fast, free and anonymous in it's own space until someone else can come up with a better solution for the regular joes to use

@stux I disagree. I think it never was useful, and the bad things were just not as apparent in the beginning.It was motivated by libertarian / anarchocapitalist ideas from the beginning.

@stux I think blockchain tech is amazing.certain people[grifters] got a lot of VC's existed over crypto and these VC's backed these companies with little to no oversight. And here we are, people are not actually being charged with fraud.

@stux crypto has been a pure scam for at least 7 years. When your family members were giving you crypto tips it was time to bail the entire industry. I always found myself wondering what blockchain could do that a SQL database couldn’t, or why there was merit in things being decentralised rather than centralised.
