Alright, it’s been a week on #Threads and despite my diligent following and favoriting and muting, I’m still getting force-fed Kardashians. I was never active in Instagram, so maybe I’m getting a colder start than others? Not even memes warranting a half-hearted nose exhale. Uninstalling. ★☆☆☆☆

Apparently I’m not alone: the honeymoon period for #Threads is over. @jbigham @bkeegan There is, but you can’t yet create new posts from it. There are a dozen critical features coming. Software takes time.

@shacker @bkeegan social don't wait though… so, if the argument is that threads is doing great, i'd say it's super precarious until they have obvious features. i signed up, thought it was cool to see all the activity, but i haven't posted since b/c i'm mostly a web user
