I'm a relatively new #developeradvocate. People who have been doing this for a while—any tips or resources?

@louis I think it means different things at different places. In my role, it's kind of a bridge between the in-house and open-source developers. Supporting open-source contributors is a big part of it. Also generally being in tune with the developer experience of using the product(s); being able to support and speak to the needs of devs.I think a big part of it is actually having dev experience, so you can speak with some authority and as a peer rather than as a marketing or sales person.
