Can you imagine a man writing this kind of piece about a woman?https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2023/07/14/josh-hawley-masculinity-crisis-00105436

@dave I don't think I have to, because the vast majority of media tend to police just about everything about women, especially of women with public exposure. Comes with the territory of most western societies. And I don't even consumed US media during Hillary Clinton's run for presidency. Then again, I'm not sure what "this kind of piece" means.

The gender of the writer isn't relevant. It is the fixation on gender roles. Plus there are entire books written by men about femininity and the evil feminist attack on it.

@dave Yeesh. As a palate cleanser, I suggest this WaPo article which has a horrible headline but makes some sound arguments. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/07/10/christine-emba-masculinity-new-model/
