@grtcdr did you also use org-roam before? I’m itching to try denote again while I’m waiting to roam’s db to refresh… is there any performance hit with file system centric search?

@oatmeal I did, but I didn't actually use org-roam to its fullest extent so I couldn't really say if one package is better than the other. What made me try out Denote was the promise of simplicity and that's what made me stick with it. I have about twenty notes, give or take, in my denote directory so lookups are very quick at the moment.
