Reading articles of men my age in much better health than me getting myocarditis after being forced to take the COVID vaccine then subsequently having a heart attack makes me forever grateful to the No Agenda show.Before listening to the show, I would have absolutely taken the vaccine. I would’ve bought into the bullshit and succumb to pressures at work.Instead I resisted, fought back, and continually questioned the “science”.And damn, does it feel good. Never forget what they did.

My employer pseudo-mandated the vaccine. I used resources found on NAS to draft a letter for exemption. They pushed against it, and I pushed back. Two weeks of back and forth, and I won.Further, because I was unvaccinated I had to undergo COVID testing twice weekly for an additional YEAR after one year already of doing this. My vaccinated coworkers did not have to. Oh yeah, and they forced me to wear a mask because of it while no one else had to. Fuck the tyrants. Fight back.

@NBS I had a very similar experience. Except I refused to tell them my vax status and asked them to provide justification for requiring my private health information. I did not receive that justification. Instead I received a letter explaining that I had to be treated as though I were unvaxxed filth until I chose to provide proof. They expected me to do twice weekly testing and wear a mask if if in the office.

@NBS all I ever got was a "mandatory" email survey asking my vaccination status. it didn't have a "I choose not to respond" option, so I just ignored it. that was the last I heard about it. our colleagues in NY were required to be vaccinated to go to the office, but that was a city mandate thing so I can't really hold it against the company. all in all they were pretty good about handling it

I was trading on the CBOE floor, and the CBOE impleminted a mandate that the firms had to enforce. So my employer was enforcing the exchange's policy, which actually helped me get the exemptionI pushed the argument, on top of religious exemptions, that we (the firm) shouldn't be enforcing a potentially illegal policyMy firm agreed, got my letter and supporting arguments, and moved on

Fuck that, found out how the system works. Tested twice a week maximum. My industry/role is pretty niche, both geographically and in terms of opportunities, and I have a one year non-compete if I leave.Fortunately my employer wasn't the one who owned the mandate, so they were understanding when I came with an exemption and pushed back.Agree though, voting with your feet when possible is the best move.

@NBS do you doubt that others died who could have taken the vax and survived? I wish there was a way to prove which option helped more people. I am 44yo, vaxed and run 40 miles a week. NA told me that being vaxed and walking by women would damage their reproductive system, that there was something like an 80% miscarriage rate for vaxed women. that did not turn out to be true. been listening to them since 2008 for lots of insights, but so much bullshit as well.

As is with everything, I take it with a grain of salt but default to trusting their info initially.I remember the 80% stat being in a few clips from the more fringe sources, but I don't recall it being a common/continued talking point of the show.I'd wager they're more right than wrong, my point is.

Everyone on the floor with me just assumed I was vaxed because I was able to walk around without a mask. When asked about testing, I always told them another manager had already done it.
