A local artist was holding a DND themed arts and crafts workshop at the bar I host karaoke at. It was delightful, we earned coins by completing quests and rolling dice so that we could buy art supplies. I drew a sleepy witch, hung out with an old karaoke regular I haven't seen in months, confidently approached and talked to strangers, made people laugh and got some selfies with cute girls. Plus I got that sweet, sweet employee discount. Dope.

Unfortunately, those selfies were lost to the ether. They asked if I wanted them sent to my phone from the wall mounted photo station, I said, "Nah, I'll just grab em off the site." And they were like, THESE ARE GOING ONLINE? before marching off embarrassed to the bathroom. I called after them, "Hiding in the toilet won't save you! The internet knows what you did!"They didn't end up sending that photo and I didn't think to go put my phone number in. Shame, I want more selfies with cute women. 🤷

@MessyDesserts It's pretty terrible not to be upfront about the online thing though. Like, actually, really, kinda awful. Especially lately.

@jellymouse I remember the first time I did it my stomach sank when I collected my photos from the link texted to my phone and realized everyone could see them. Then I thought, "Eh... I'm hot and my outfit is nice. I don't care if people see these."I'll have to check the kiosk Saturday and see if it says anywhere that the photos you keep are put online. It really seems like less people would take the pictures they take if they knew they were public.
